Meet Marina

Hey there. I’m Marina!
I officially started Marina Corbo Photography in September of 2019, but I've been taking pictures for a lot longer than that. You know those super random moments you remember from your childhood? That's me when it comes to remembering the exact moment that I knew I wanted to get into photography. When I was in middle school, my family went on a trip to New York City. We were standing in the middle of Central Park when a lady approached us asking to take her picture. Everyone deflected that question to me, like they always do, to which I answered by saying yes. What I didn't know was that she was going to hand me her super fancy camera to take the picture with. I remember looking through the lens 1) being so nervous and 2) being so fascinated by all of the technology in that little thing. From that moment on I became obsessed with photography and wanting a camera of my own, just like the lady's that I got to use that day. I eventually got a camera, took all of the photography classes that my high school offered, met my boyfriend in photography class, and the rest is history!
Here are a few of my favorite pictures that I took in high school:
I am the oldest of 3 siblings and have 2 younger brothers. My boyfriend Chance and I have been dating since high school photography class. Going on all of our photo assignments together and exploring the city of Cleveland was (and still is) "our thing." I am currently finishing up my marketing degree at the University of Cincinnati. Marketing, photography and all things creative are kind of my jam! I am a huuuge lover of music and would spend all my money on concert tickets if I let myself. My life pretty much consists of going to school during the day and building my photography business at night, with workout classes and coffee dates mixed in. It's often times a little crazy, but I love it and wouldn't trade it for the world!
Whether it is with my camera or my phone I am always snapping moments in time and documenting life's best adventures. I'm so happy you stumbled on this post and hope you now know a little bit more about me. Please send me a message so I can get to know you or let's grab coffee sometime.
Until next time, remember to spread positivity to those around you + don't take life too seriously!
